Shifting the Economic Paradigm: Lake Tahoe Basin Prosperity Plan
Working closely with the project Steering Committee, ADE and its subconsultant CSU Chico, Center for Economic Development facilitated a highly interactive planning process to create the Basin's first regional Prosperity Plan. ADE and CED's analytic, networking and engagement skills helped bring together hundreds of community leaders, agency representatives and residents to develop a bottom up economic strategy, and to identify champions, partners and resources for implementation. ADE leads preparation of the 2010 California Regional Progress Report for the California Strategic Growth Council and Caltrans
The California Strategic Growth Council released the 2010 California Regional Progress Report: One State, Many Regions, Our Future at its December 3rd 2010 meeting. The Report is the state's first region-based report on sustainability indicators, benchmarking and measuring progress toward sustainability across twenty place-based quality of life indicators.
